This was a very unique AirBnb and the view from the bed was incredible. The drive was long from San Jose so when I got into town it was pitch black. I finally arrived and realized the owner only spoke Spanish. I tried asking if I could park my car where it was in the street "mi coche es in la calle" and thankfully a European overheard and came to help. The food was awesome and exactly what I needed after a long day of travel. It was also close enough to a trail of the Cerro Chirripo National Park so I got to walk over in the morning.

I found this stop because I googled "tallest mountain in Costa Rica". I learned from that google search that if I wanted to hike that, I would need backpacking gear and this would take up a few days of my trip so I decided to go to the national park and hike some of the trails instead of attempting to climb and camp to get to the top of the mountain. I did the "Cloudbridge Reserve" trail and it was still challenging. There were some awesome viewpoints of the mountain, waterfalls and wildlife.

There wasn't a whole a lot to do in town and that was fine by me. The AirBnb had good food and there was a river steps away that I could sit at to read and write.
